Does anyone else find the French Habs blog confusing and difficult to read, or is it just me?

happily eat $1-1.5M this year if they'll take him and not send a contract back.

Still frees up over $2M, which is plenty to get Franson on a decent deal with term.

when agreeing to eat $$ on a traded contract... do you have to agree to eat the same amount over the term of the contract, or can you only eat a portion for 1 of the 3yrs remaining?

from what I've seen they can eat varying amounts and years. ie could eat $1M this year only, or over 2 yrs, or all 3. etc.

nice.... makes it workable then... if it was same amount over all 3yrs... that would limit the use of it.
