and where would he be playing?

was just looking at capgeek, and noticed that Jake Gardiner's AHL salary last year was only 65000. since it was a half season he only would have got 38000. plus a little bit more for the 12 NHL games he played. so he likely only got paid 45-50K before taxes and agent fees etc. ouch.

Edit: not sure what his performance bonuses were, but since he only played limited regular season games, I doubt he hit them.

2nd edit: sorry those 12 NHL games likely earned him 128,000. so not as bad as it first looked.
