disagreement is a two way street.
- Rockhead_37

I'm aware. But not all sides have to think the opposing side is ridiculous. I agree with Dozzer on this one. Franson is overrated. People think he's god because he put up some point. Doesnt mean he can handle 1st/2nd line oppositions.
That being said, you have valid points stating Franson is a good player. Your opinion isn't ridiculous just because I disagree with it.

to you.

Pretty sure Carlyle sees it differently.

- Big_Lightnin

New year. New players. I think he will most likely see differently than last year as well.

Their play was one of the reasons the series went to 7
- Fakepartofme

it was stated earlier that a struggling seguin was the cause of that mis-perception.

his last shift of the year was pretty important... definitely "counted" and he took a lap to the top of the circle chasing the puck only to watch Boston end the series while he was way out of position.
- Big_Lightnin

Yup one error that was among a 100 errors that lead to the lost

Sooo..

JVR-Blozak-Kessel
Lupul-Kadri-Clarkson
Kulemin-Bolland-Colborne
Raymond-Mcclement-Orr/Mclaren

Phaneuf-Gunnar
Gardiner-Ranger
Franson-Fraser

Bernier
Reimer

Share your thoughts? I don't see the point of having Orr and Mclaren in every game, but would love to have them for the Boston/Habs kind of games.

- iTOLDu

Franson is better than Gardiner, so he should be second pairing

VERY disturbed by something Nonis alluded to during presser today...essentially equating negotiations with Kessell to that of Bozak and that if he is not signed prior to/during the season, he can look to sign him between the end of the year and UFA day...VERY un-settling. Awfully big gamble to take considering what was given up to acquire him, his current production and future production. You can afford to let a college-FA signing go for nothing, but if Kessell is lost with no assetts coming back Nonis should be hung by his feet in Maple Leaf Square. Not a happy camper about this at all...

As a #5 guy getting sheltered mins.
- burn

Not sure why you call him a # 5

We have 3 offensive d and they need to be paired with a stay at home D

He is #2 skill wise / point producing d

Gardiner still has diapers on, he will be good - not better than Franson yet.

(frank)ing Gionta pushes Gardiner around

That's my opinion and its right and LIKE IT!!!!!!

the argument is that he was 2nd pairing last year vs 3rd pairing... i don't think there has been one person suggest he is 1-2..

if so, shame on them.

Raymond brings more offensively. Can put the puck in the net, I personally think he fits our team nicely. Makes up for that "loss of speed" everyone keeps talking about.

Komarov is an awesome guy, but I don't see him as anything more than a 4th line grinder.

Regular season - Komarov

Winning the cup, which means outscoring the opposition in the playoffs 16 times. Then - Raymond

Good question really

- t_leafs21

Oh Lord, the legend of Komarov continues to grow.

He was not a grinder.

Ever.

So you also know that typing "you you" back to back in a sentence is redundant and gramatically incorrect? If you're going to chirp, be beyond reproach son...

he got obliterated in every game against teams with 2 very good lines. (Bos, Pitts).

Even in the playoffs he was only ever good offensively, but was severely exposed by the Krecji line the entire series.

- Big_Lightnin

(frank), who doesn't get exposed by that line?

Nobody recently has said Franson is 1-2. However its happened before. The end of the season, there were a few in here saying he was better than Phaneuf and he should take his place. good times. And how could he have been 2nd pairing while playing on the 3rd pairing with Fraser.

I'm going to have to side with the Newfie adhesive strip here - I don't care if you can't spell Bryzgalov or Toews, but c'mon, Kessel is the most talented guy on the Leafs.

Show a little respect.

Get his name right.
