Oh, and Gardiner. But he's an RFA, part of why getting Kadri and Franson signed cheap is important. Sets a good precedent for the Leafs.

My bad I should've said IMO, but you have to admit there is no reason Kessel would want to leave. I think most of us will agree the Leafs are on the way up and he will get as much $/term here than he will get anywhere else. I could also be wrong, but I just don't see why he wouldn't resign with the team that gave up 2 1st's and a 2nd for him. Not to mention he is hands down the face of the franchise. That's where I get the "being realistic" part from.
