Robin is all talk, no action.

So you think Franson is worth the same as a pile of crap, yet the Leafs are doomed without him?
Quit huffing oily rags. - Atomic Wedgie
It's just a thing other teams fans come here and do...If ya pay attention hab fans been doing the same thing... |

No Ive never heard it work or seen it fill up.
Ok thanks guys! - Fakepartofme
Ive got a pedestal type of sump at home. You can simulate a fill up by simply lifting the float switch on the side of it. On the pole that supports the float there is two O rings that you can adjust to get the water level right. Typically you set it so that the base of the pump remains submerged so that it doesnt run dry |

Maybe wrong..but not dead wrong..he will have a good year when signed.
The more ice he gets the better he gets...fucking Wilson totally destroyed his confidence...these guys aren't machines...
Anyway I did this yesterday...I really like Franson, I think he brings a lot to the team - but like you - its just my opinion and yes I watched EVERY leaf game last year, might have fast forwarded a couple due to finding out the score ahead of time - Garnie
For you to assume he'd be better by getting more ice time, you'd have to assume he was a machine
You're not taking into consideration better opponents, fatigue, and frustration from getting exposed defensively... which can take a huge toll on a d-mans production. Case in point: McCabe. |

That's good, but I would still try it to see if it is in good working order.
Use water, don't just pull up the float and run the pump dry after it sitting dry for so long, this will also tell you if the sump drain hose is working... - Byfuglien Ate Me

so it's okay to take in account injuries, but not okay to take into account that a guy started the year in the press box and took 12 games to win over the new coach... during which stretch his toi/g was 10-12mins which impacts the whole body toi/g number
maybe manipulate is a strong word, i dont mean you are manipulating/changing them.. but you're picking the body of work that best suits you. - Rockhead_37
I'm picking the total body of work- doing anything else would be manipulating stats.
And yes, it's ok to take into account injuries, because those are games those guys just aren't playing, because of circumstances outside anyone's control. TOI/G reflects that he was doing things the coach didn't like.
In fact, if you want to read into the stats further, you could argue that people ahead of him getting injured may have lead to his minutes going up. |

So we currently have $2MM in cap space now.
What do we get for demoting Holzer? - markmark
If we demote Holzer and Smith, that leaves us with a 20 man roster, $3,333,333 in cap space, and Franson and Raymond to sign.
Franson at 2.6, and Raymond at .725 and we're good to go. |

Where do I sign? I havnt seen much of Raymond, why did Van let him walk? I was under the impression that he was half decent. |

No.
I believe it means Randy thought they were better defensively than Cody. - daws44
And, as the season progressed, he admitted his mistake, as evidenced by the fact that of Franson's final 20 games, he played under 20 minutes only once.
And much of this mistake was based on not really knowing the player. But of course Carlyle has never made that mistake before right?

This.
But Franson holds out till 5-10 game mark, as this frees up a roster spot for Rielly before they send him back to the WHL. I bet Nonis doesn't even seriously start negotiations until then. |

That one is great for the Leafs, the trick is to try and work out a deal that fills both teams needs. |
