Speaking of five hole.

Martin Brodeur was on TV last night on RDS. He said there's been changes to the goalie equipment this summer and he had to shorten his pads. 1.5 inches each.

Imagine guys like Giguère, Lundqvist, Price etc... they'll have to cut what, 3 inches at least?

Monster had us in the playoffs before Reimer came back and then reimer shat the bed and gussy lost his confidence thus the ensuing 18 wheeler off cliff.

So capgeek seems to have 300k in bonuses marked down for the leafs this year. Seems to increase their space not reduce. Which seems weird to me. Anyone know how that works? Seems to create enough space. If Franson agrees to say 2.5. Raymond 750k and holzer and smith go down. Means a 22 man roster with one extra forward and 1 extra D.

And best of all it means we get to keep Liles. I was really worried about losing him. :-)
