oh I'm in total agreement... audition the kids - the Broll dozzer and Devane... but definitely keep the Blue Bombers.
someone earlier on indicated that they thought one might be moved to make room for Mason Raymond. - BorjeFan4Ever
Anyone who wants to get rid of one of Orr or McLaren needs to be reminded that we'd probably never see another display of violence and hilarity like that Montreal game ever again. |

Easily the highlight of last season. The game that launched a thousand gifs.
That was also the game when Grabo finally lost his mind, wasn't it? What a classic. |

Yeah, he chomped down right when patches thought it would be a good idea to try and suffocate him/choke him out.
So many memories from that game.

Two things:
1. Kadri signed for less than 3mil per, and all of those who said he wouldn't can suck it.
2. Queens of the Stone Age are pretty (frank)ing good live. - BetterCallSaul
Agree... saw them a few years back... they put on a good show |

so it looks like #Bobo was full of poop or had bad sources - because this term and $$ is nowhere even close to what he said Kadri was looking for when Kadri tweeted to him that he was wrong. |

Morning. Geesh, some late night posting on this one. Ya ya ya, I know time zones but still.
Not sure what Kadri was asking for previously, but you know he wasn't holding out for just an extra $25K/year cause that's all the Leaf offer went up from when it came out over a month ago.
Anyway, I'd always said Kadri wouldn't miss a single game. I bet my money on him signing as soon as he saw Bozak, Bolland, McClement & Colborne lining up down the middle during camp and the team not looking to poopy without him. I'll give credit to all the TSN & Sportnet's articles of how Bolland will take his spot and Colborne is ready to become an NHL regular. Thank you Toronto hype machine.
Now we just need to move Liles or something so we can sign Franson and Mason speed wobble Raymond. |

Pretty sure he was holding out for as good a long term deal as he could get. He certainly has an opportunity for a big pay day in a few years going this route.

Morning all,
Just curious as to what the thoughts are on Mason Raymond? I'd also like to give my opinion. In a Carlyle system he runs 3 lines very hard and uses his 4th line sparingly. Where exactly does Raymond fit on the Leafs? Scouting report says he is just as much of a playmaker as a scorer. I would assume the logical thing to do is shuffle the top nine to fit him in and balance the scoring. This is all in assumption that he signs for league minimum and Liles is moved of course, (to sign Franson). In this sense we wouldn't have a third line but rather 1,2a,2b,4. Of course I say this in preparation for the 5+ million on the "3rd line", but then you have to remember in this scenerio there are two players on the "2nd line" who add up to less than 4 million. Anyway...
JVR - Bozak - Kessel
Lupul - Kadri - Raymond
Kulemin - Bolland - Clarkson
Colborne - McClement - Orr/McClaren
Phaneuf - Gunnarsson
Gardiner - Franson
Ranger - Fraser
Holzer
Reimer/Bernier
All of a sudden we've increased our forward depth, which I for one was very worried about until last night. Love to hear your thoughts. Cheers Ladies and Gents! |

But it seems odd so many take joy in saying he was wrong

Leafs may end up regretting not getting him locked up long term in a couple years.
Good bridge deal anyways... Ball is in Kadri's court to go earn his big $$$

Bernier seems like the pre-camp fav to start.

Gotta agree. The Habs fans at my workplace were too embarrassed to even look Leaf fans in the eye, let alone talk about the game. |

I just think he's a better goalie because of rebound control, glove hand and puck handling. |
