Nah. Even with his breakout season last year, I would not want Tlusty anywhere near this team. Especially if I plan to compete.

Thing is, Tlusty would only make our third line. No big loss, and he does nothing away from the puck. As one dimensional as they come.

The over hype is coming from you on the Gunnar part. Franson proved last season to be better than Gunnar at both ends of the ice.

This seems more like a case of dislike than an actual comparison based on performance.

I, for one, don't think Gunnar is top pairing dman on a solid team, and feel Franson can play just as well as he could in any role.

The coach played Franson more than he played Gunnar in that series. I fail to see the sheltering going on.

You really believe this. Clearly he was a loss. He is a good player and would easily make the Nashville team.

Gunnar is slightly better, less physical though, and the cap is closing. Franson will be the better dman in the long run.

Lombardi made 3.5 and Franson was only 24 I don't see why you think this guy sucks he played way better last year in his own end and will only get better.
