It`s the proof of concept for a system that hones in on the frequency of female(or male?- whichever ones bite) mosquitoes, and shoots a laser at them. You but it, install it in your backyard, and never worry about those (frank)ers again.

It's designed by the team that put together the Star Wars program. They really want someone to use their lasers.

That's great if true.

What stops the lasers from going through the bug and into the eyes of neighbours, children, random pets, the odd migrating bird...

At the height of the season a persons backyard would look like this:

I wonder if one or two of these was installed outside "la Centre Bell", if it might mistake a mighty mite for a mosquito?

raymon is a waste of time, players like him are dime a dozen. and for kadri, when did he think he's worth a matt Duchene bridge deal?

its not a problem... you just put up one of those signs like they use for people's pets when they spray pesticide... and you are all good (legally covered).

my buddy says they use these in the military already around camps/posts in the bush/jungle etc. guess it's an added bonus if it also makes your enemies blind on occasion.

interesting that a hab fan would label guy who can skate, dive and play a little hockey - who's a bit on the small/frail side - as a waste of time/dime a dozen?

no offense.. but pointing out the negatives of another player as a rebuttal just doesnt hold water.

phaneuf and gunnar are signed.. franson is not.. he's the one to be scrutinized.

oh wait.. i forgot.. he's so totally awesome.... my bad.

- Dozzer

whats to scrutinize about, franson is a decent player i dont care about $$$ as long as he is not overpaid

We've got enough players with that particular skill-set.

i wasnt even talking about $$, i was just talking about how franson had a good playoff run and did more good than bad, he was key coming up with key goals to keep us in, yeah probably (frank)ed up a bit but others did too which was more noticeable to me

Edit: example fraser was slow as (frank) and O'byrne

see i dont agree with the more good than bad part but i'll regress.. dont want to get into it again.

just keep in mind for all his points he was only plus 1 for the series.

longterm he deserves about 4M, but longterm shouldnt even be considered. 4-5 years would be a sick deal, if we can get him for a steal for 3.5M around 4-5 years would be nice. If he signs a 1 year probably 2-2.5M would work. For a bridge deal of 2 years probably 3M per
