OK so here are a bunch of optimistic IF statements..

If Kadri accepts the current leaf offer of 2.85 ( not a penny more)
If Franson signs for the 2M even deal Dreger stated
If Raymond makes the team and accepts only 700K
If Colborne and Ranger make the team because sending them down would mean they are picked up on waivers immediately.

If all this happens leafs are still $236K over the cap.

To me the question is no longer "IF" Nonis makes a move to free up space it's "WHEN". Has to happen... he has no choice.

to be fair, if you play Gunnar and Phaneuf together, at no more than 20ish minutes a night they are quite effective. 22-24+ and they start to falter a little.
