It was not More positives than negatives. If it was, he would have helped score in OT instead of taking a lap up by the top of the circle while Bos scored the OT winner.

Well, yes and no. Colborne is ready to play this season. I would say a prospect might work better. But your point stands as very logical...though I can't see Burke helping the Leafs out for an unproven asset. That's just me though.

If Kadri accepts the current leaf offer of 2.85 ( not a penny more)
If Franson signs for the 2M even deal Dreger stated
If Raymond makes the team and accepts only 700K
If Colborne and Ranger make the team because sending them down would mean they are picked up on waivers immediately.

If all this happens leafs are still $236K over the cap.

To me the question is no longer "IF" Nonis makes a move to free up space it's "WHEN". Has to happen... he has no choice.

I'll be much happier when the hold outs are finished and we see this team on the ice. I used to spend the summer wondering if there was anything to like about my Leafs, now I have to admit, I'm a koolaid drinker for mostly everything blue and white. Even having bozak here doesn't bother me.
