the only thing that would make we worry, a little, is what he mentioned about klefbom...........maybe it's cuz cloutier over-pumped the kid on this site (it's the only place i ever hear about him), but for someone who was supposed to step right into your top 4 as early as this season, to be struggling so much against prospects, could be concerning.

like i said, it's very likely that cloutier drastically overhyped this guy, which would lead to my opinion.

Marincin-Looked like the pro he is
Gernat and Musil played really good other than a few penalties
Nurse- Terrible first game game 2lioked like the top 10 pick he is
Klefbom- bad first game (Except 2ndperiod) Decent second game

Aside from Musil, who was god awful, I agree.

Davidson looked like a men among boys in the first game. Calm and composed. Think he's really risen as a legit prospect. Real good story

I didn't weed my way through all of the comments so this may have been mentioned. Mac T and Eakins both commented on the tournament. Two of my favorite responses were:

Reporter: Coach Eakins, what did you think of the prospects at this tournament

Eakins: Not much

Later he expands and says what do you expect when the coach doesn't even hold a practice before the tournament. (Doesn't sound like any love for Nelson)

Reporter: MacT, this is your first full year as a GM. Because you came in half way through last year you weren't involved in this process. Were you excited about starting the year.

Mac T: I was till I watched this tournament.

Later he expands to say the tournament was very unorganized and had no structure. Once again I leaning that Nelson is becomming the Goat. Add that to the fact that last year there was a story out that Oiler prospects weren't developing because Todd Nelson was playing AHL contracted players more than concentrating on the development of Oiler players. Wouldn't be surprised to see a change there despite Todd Nelson's winning record.

I was able to watch all three Oiler games over the internet and we did have a few flashes of brilliance but I doubt we will be seeing any of those prospects including Klefbom, Marincin, Davidson, or Roy (The 4 that weren't horrible) in the NHL anytime soon.

Also Eakins said that before the tournament he had some prospects pencilled into the line up, and that he was glad it was in pencil.

Our last 3 first rounders are in the NHL already, the other teams don't so of course they will be better.

The Golden Bears are probably going to beat down these rookies.
