Nah, Its not that shocking. Those are mostly adults (21 and up) and effin good ones at that.
Alot of those uni teams regularly smoke the world junior team during pre tourney tuneups.

He got hurt, it happens. It didnt even happen from initial contact.

So over this silly myth about rnh, that has somehow became fact.
He missed 20 games and was still in the running for ROY. But he didnt belong in the show? How does this make sense?

Of course its gonna help when he adds muscle and strength, but he also belonged in the nhl without a doubt. Hes proven it

Yak's production on an eastern team last year wins him the RoY, on the Oil his rookie leading goal total doesn't get a mention.

JSchultz on another team is a Top 2 offensive Dman, in Edm he is just deficient.

Dubey and his stats over the past 3 years would have him as a budding top goalie. He is just a backup waiting for a starter to come to town while he is in Edm.

Basically, but I do not agree with your analysis of Tavares. Tavares is a top 3 player in the league, and Taylor Hall will never be at his level. If Hall is lucky, he will make it to three levels below Taveres' level. Tavares is a god, and can win a game by himself whenever he feels the need too. Unlike Hall (who has an all-star team surrounding him) Tavares was able to take a group of career ECHLers to the NHL playoffs. Hall will never take the Oilers to the playoffs. Why? Because he's a one-dimensional player. Sure he can put up points, but he has zero defensive game, and is a constant liability out there (as is evident with his horrible plus-minus). I believe the Oilers rushed Hall. If Eakins had any brains, he'd send Hall down to the AHL for a year.
