The leafs would have to give up the asset to drop one of their bad contracts...that is what the flames are waiting for. Calgary has cap room to spare and is just waiting for a desperate team

if you were to trade all 7 top d-men for each team to the other team.... the leafs would be drafting 3, 4 or 5 overall... and the oilers would have made the playoffs last year...

Oil upgraded a little this year. Leafs didn't.

There are similarities. Pronger can't see because of an eye injury and Dion can't see past his huge forehead.
That being said - I will happily cheer for Amoukar Phaneuf.
