Has anyone heard anything on Damien Brunner? I'm kind of surprised he hasn't signed with anyone yet.

He's too busy strangling Neil Sheehy to sign with anyone yet. Should have taken the Detroit deal when it was on the table.
Seriously though, I think Brunner is a competent offensive-minded middle-six winger who could be an above average second liner overall if his defensive game continues to improve. A lot of teams could use a player like him. But at this point he'll probably have to wait for a spot to open up somewhere due to injury and take a 1-year deal.
Then again, Philly just signed Dan Cleary for 3 years at $2.75 per with an NTC (!!??), so who knows.
