please state the origin, alcohol content and other weird details so that I may either mock you for your choice or try to outdo you by drinking an even stranger one. - dt99999
Last night I had a Spanish Wine. The grape was Monastrell. |

Yeah, the Spanish and Portuguese wines' value for money is hard to beat. |

Spain, Argentina and Chili. All have many vineyards over 3000 feet above sea level. No bugs, mean pesticide free wines, for a far better price. |

I had a glass of water with dinner yesterday.
Pointe-Claire Municipal water, 2013 vintage. very good.
I like to let the tap run for a few seconds before I fill my glass to let it air out a bit and get the real flavours to pop out.
could have been a bit more chilled but it was enjoyable and accompanied the roast chicken, tortellini with pesto and tomato/avocado salad perfectly. |

Smells like pomegranate and has a very nice light fruity/spicy taste. We always end up going with the Cabernet Sauvignon...we were looking for something a little different. We also got the Gamay-Cabernet from this winery. |

Not a fan of Chili, but I find Spain and Argentina, for some reason, can achieve something close to the taste of an old bordeau, but with a young wine, and also very affordable.
Must be the climate or something. |
