Well, he waited at the blue line, yeah.

That's technically in front of the goalie.

- _nay_

He waited at the blue line? I see. I must have missed all these games.

And by your definition, I suppose Price waits in front of their goalie as well?

I will say it now. Marco Di Vaio @divaio9 is the SMARTEST player in the HISTORY of the MLS.

So staying parked in front of the goalie waiting for a pass à la Kovalev makes him smart?

- _nay_

His timing could be better in regards too the dozen offsides a game but he really stretches the defenders with his movement, at 36 playing in a league that's a lot more straightforward and physical than he's ever been used to playing he's delivered the goods.

Price talks too much, he needs to shutup and stop pucks!

On this line, Pacioretty has to commit himself to doing more of the dirty work, to crashing the net and making life tough on the opposing goalie of the night, because Briere will be a shooting threat and not much else.

agree on this. Pacioretty has blossomed into a pretty productive player in the last 3 years. but he's at a point in his career where he's going to define himself as either a legitimate frontline player or a default first-liner.

as for Tinordi, i hope that if he's not in the top-6 opening night it's because he simply didn't play well enough, and not because he was the victim of a numbers game. i would much rather see Douglas Murray in the pressbox than Tinordi in Hamilton.

He is.

If Eller and/or Galchenyuk take another step forward this year, he'll soon have a new center and his production will increase.

I recall him carrying the puck often and trying to do it all by himself, when he wasn't floating.

Considering he's the #1 goal scorer in the league, on the #1 team in their division, I'd say that's an understatement.

I think your forward lines are spot on.

As for defense, there won't be any changes.

Tinordi-Nygren and Beaulieu-Pateryn will be kept intact in Hamilton.

Bergevin won't rush the young guys. Last year was an exception.

Let them develop in the AHL and work the phone lines for trades.

We'll see a trade after 20 games.
