Might, but I don't like it at all.

TB getting Bishop and ruining Lindback's confidence, I don't get it.
Same with Reimer.
If you want a solid duo, get a veteran.
Pittsburgh got it right by getting Vokoun.

Bernier gets all the easy games!

Just didn't work too well for their #1 goalie, though.

I hear Vokoun would wear his old Habs Jersey in the Locker Room and it pissed Fleury off becuase he has always wanted to play for the habs

I find that Fleury can choke anytime no matter who is the backup. A veteran presence can prevent from a complete team confidence catastrophe. Fleury, Price, Reimer, all good young goalies struggling with consistency. I don't agree with that method but maybe both TB and Toronto will make it work.

There aren't many teams that use 2 young goaltenders. The vet + young guy combo seems to be the main model followed across the league. That said it,s not impossible to make another formula work. But I believe that eventually, one of the 2 ends up being traded.

Reimer will be traded.

Reimer certainly deserved a better faith. He had a pretty good season but still is injury prone and this might be the reason why they went for Bernier who hasn't proved anything more than Reimer at the pro level. As for Lindback though, getting Bishop was a no-brainer for Tampa.

I don't think they care about Reimer to be honest. They wanted to race him.

Just looking at PK Subban and he is so ripped it is sick.

It is my lead visual for the Habs story. You have to see this physical specimen.

How it this a no-brainer? They traded good picks for Lindback, saying he was their new franchise goalie. He plays 24 games and BOOM, get out of the way, enters Ben Bishop, new future franchise goalie. All this while having a great prospect waiting in Valiselvskiwetgasdfski, aka future franchise goalie.

It's more about panicking than anything IMO.

I think they made a huge mistake by giving so much to get him (not to mention by getting him). I consider a no-brainer giving the number 1 job to Bishop instead of Lindback. Bishop's positionning and technics are head and shoulders above Lindback. If Lindback wasn't that athletic he wouldn't be in the NHL.

Couldn't help but think about Martin Brodeur while reading this.

Edit: waits for stormey to post "Lindback = Brodeur"

There isn't much to talk about on the Habs even with camp opening today. No controversies at all, I am sure Rejean Tremblay is working hard to create something.
