A tale of 2 games.

This is how I would like the line-up to look like:

Pacioretty-Plekanec-Gionta
Galchenyuk-Eller-Gallagher
Bourque-Desharnais-Briere
Prust-White-Parros-Moen-Dumont


Gorges-Subban
Markov-Murray (Emelin)
Bouillon-Diaz
Drewiske

Drewiske will be sent down once Emelin comes back. Either him or Murray will be traded by the trade deadline. I'm really not high on the idea of DD seeing top-six minutes, nor Bourque also. I think both of them, with Briere, would make an awesome exploitation third line though. I think Pacioretty with Pleks and Gio should be the first line. They are all offensively gifted and good defensively. In my mind, a first line should feature the team's best forwards, and even though Gio isn't a top line forward anymore, he is our best right winger. Gallagher isn't ready to see top line minutes yet, but next year he will take Gio's place.

Although many people think they'll be on the same line. I really hate to see two floaters like Brière and Desharnais playing together. It will be a defensive disaster.

Same here. Bourque and Gallagher/Prust would make an effective 3rd line. Brière's signing pushes Prust out of the top-9, which sucks. He has 4th line hands, but top 6 vision. Would have been nice to see him play with a playmaker like Desharnais.

Professional photographers from the various agencies tested their cameras on the backdrop looking for the best angles. I had my seven-year-old Canon that I still can’t get good photos out of, but it fits in my pocket. With ITV running a live web stream of the event I decided I really didn’t have to try to use my recorder. I could just sit and enjoy it.

The room began to fill up and Jesse D. Eisenberg began to usher in the players to the front rows. I was in the third row and mouthed to Jesse if I should move. He motioned ’No’ and so I stayed put -- as Casey Cizikas, Matt Martin and Josh Bailey sat down in the row with me. I watched Matt Moulson grab a chair from the other room so he could be up front and listened to the good natured joking that was flying around the group.

“It looks like a wedding.” Josh said. He was right, and as most weddings, it seemed to be running late. I had a few minutes to talk to Josh, but it was all off the record and just small talk. I will say he didn’t think his golf game has improved since last year.
