Higgins >> Booth on account of injury risk. Also, he has the benefit of being a steadier two-way presence for your young players to play with.

Thats why I sheltered Jensen with Kesler and Burrows. Yours are decent.
- VANTEL

I can see your point, but I feel like playing with Kesler immediately might not be the easiest as can sometimes develop a "Hemsky Complex" and try to do everything himself. Also, playing the two of them together might help them develop chemistry. That being said, I can see the benefit to sheltering them with great two-way players as they may pick up the little things a tad faster, but I felt Hansen adequately filled that role and could teach his fellow Dane, Jensen, the true meaning of work ethic. He sometimes loses interest in the defensive end.

I don't think that's quite what he meant, but it's not my place to get in the way of a lover's quarrel

Oddly enough I see a lot of bobby Ryan in Jensen. High end skill but a lazy little iggy

Playing with a fellow Dane might help his confidence too for a Jensen Horvat Hansen third line.

It must be because I live in BC and am practically forced to watch Nucks games. That's the only reasonable explanation.

But in all seriousness, it's because I'm an Oilers fan that I was able to watch so many other teams. Trust me; when your team plays as bad as the Oil have for the past 7 seasons, you'll find a lot of reasons to watch other teams play.

That's a pretty fair comparison. Maybe not quite the same level of high-end skill that Ryan has, but definitely similar styles. Specifically, Ryan's silky mitts are mainly what separate the two.

Well he is wrong . There was an offer in place and told not to follow through by Lu. John Shannon reported it as well as a few Vancouver reporters ,so he is not impossible to move. Before there were teams like CBJ that would have welcomed him and he nixed that too .So Lu is part of the reason he was not moved.

Package deals can be made to move him ,just wait to see what makes the most sense and make sure we have a goalie to replace him .

Yeah. Agreed. But Jensen although lacking consistancy has some nifty mittens

On the other side of that, Lu denied that any deal had been brought to him. From there it's just a question of who you believe. I haven't looked into it too much as it really doesn't matter as he wasn't traded in the end.

Every time I watch this clip, I get goosebumps! Such a beautiful move! If only he could do this more often.

Yeah the he said, she said is a bit much

But IMO Lu lied. He said he tried everything he could to void his contract and nothing worked. However if Lu didn't report to camp the canucks could automatically void it. So he is clearing lying about that. Why not something else

He actually tip toed around the response and said " No that's not exactly what happened ." He told Mike look I want to go to Florida so don't bother . To me I take that as nixing it,he looks at it in a different informal way that can not be constued as Power of Veto

For the record I don't see edm doing anything more then last yr until they get a high end veteran presense. If that means over paying through UFA or trade then so be it

No . Introduce one or two a year like Corrado Jensen and/or Horvat this year with the guidance of the twins Alex and Hammer.
