I was really young, but from what I remember I'd hardly call Housley a "shutdown" type defenseman
Ristolainen & Zadorov can play physical & shut guys down, plus provide some offense...
I don't really remember Ramsey
But either way,
It's been a long time

And I'm still high on McNabb becoming that type player too

McCabe is very much like Pysyk from what I've seen/read... Solid, calm with the puck, makes the right play with few errors...

I think Ehrhoff & Weber are pretty solid
And I'm not sure yet what how to project what Ruhwedel will become...

But our Defense is shaping up to be the best I can ever remember it
A few years from now,
I think we'll have one of the best Def Corps in the league
