1999 he had over 3100 passing yards and almost 500 rushing yards. By today's standards that would equal out to about 4000 passing yards and 700 rushing yards since the league is more offensive driven. Pretty damn good numbers

Comparing Flutie to Losman is comparing mediocre to worse. Also, a lot of Flutie's problem is that he supposedly loved to divide locker rooms.

And was 28th in the NFL in comp %. Which is a very important stat. 1999 was by far his best season and he finished 11th in total passing, only because players like McNair, Marino, Garcia, Aikman, Blake all missed 2 or more games. He was middle of the road
