disagree
the bills gave a C+ effort yesterday and was leading with a minute left in the game
if byrd nutted up and played with a wart on his foot and if the coach fed Fred the ball more in the 4th quarter, they win that game
2 more good drafts and this team has the foundation for a descent run for years - homiedclown

That's pretty much what I'm saying. I think even in decline, Brady/Bellic will beat us to the end. Its rare a team has such dominance over another, but such is life. Once this division is legitimately up for grabs again, football will be fun in Buffalo again. - Buffalo--Sabres
Well at least we will know where the mark is set. I was encouraged yesterday by what I saw, though we have a LONG way to go. |

I agree. There were some good things yesterday and some bad things. I'm not going to get too excited and I'm not going to be too disappointed yet. I do think that both TD passes that EJ threw were pretty nice though. |

You guys are in here saying the Bills gave the game away to the Patriots? Boy thats a pretty homer way of looking at things. Patriots werent all that impressive because they made mistakes they normally dont make. Bills should have lost by a much larger margin if the Patriots execute like they normally do. None of the 3 turnovers were directly caused by the Bills. An interception from a dropped pass. A fumble from the RB falling in open field. And a fumbled snap. 2 of those extremely lucky turnovers take away 14 points, and 1 of them adds 7 for the Pats.
Had the Bills won yesterday, that wouldve been an extremely lucky win. |

CJ fumbles while changing hands before he was even hit at the 7 yard line. Goodwins fumble wouldn't be called a catch in the endzone by the NFL standards of what constitutes a catch, and the Bills took COSTLY drive ending penalties. Yes they gave the game away. The Patriots weren't and aren't the Patriots of the last decade. This game was winnable for the Bills and they did it without their best safety and corner against a pass happy Patriot team. The Patriots didn't play their best but the Bills gave it away |

Both teams had costly errors, the Bills errors were bigger. Huge drive ending penalties, fumble at our own 7, Stevie dropped maybe a game sealing drive. |

Both the Pats fumble recoveries were a product of the Patriots getting hands on the football to strip it loose. Ball was starting to come out on CJ, but he still had it pinned to his hip when the defender grabbed him and knocked it loose. Goodwin made a football move and even tried protecting the ball before it got stripped.
9 punts and 4 three-and-outs. Bills only had 5 possessions over 2 minutes, and only 1 was impressive, the 80 yard drive.
Penalties were an issue, but what else is new?
Patriots dominated TOP, first downs, and driving when they had to. You cant even compare the Bills fumbles to the Pats fumbles. |

Oh I know but he had that gamer quality. Losman wasn't built that way. Flutie wouldn't back down from any situation. He was like Gerbe but made it work at the higher level - Stripes77
Gamer quality? Made it work at the highest level?
Flutie never won a single NFL playoff game. |

IMO penalties killed the Bills along with Stevie Johnson and his big mouth, he should keep his mouth shut and let his play speak for himself. EJ needs to throw the ball, good teams with good QB's move there teams down the field by throwing the ball not runnig it 3 out of 4 downs. Can't understand why Stevie can't just shut the hell up and just play. If EJ can get the ball down field we should be alot better then last year. Can't keep the D on the field as much as we did and expect to win, to many missed tackles as well.
Only the first game with the new coaching staff i'm sure it will get better. |

It started at 7:30 tonight I believe. Not sure what the score is. I know Twitter had updates, but I don't use twitter.
EDIT: They were down 1-0 going into the first intermission. Kris Baker posted that about 33 mins ago. Not sure if anything's changed. |

It's one thing to have both on (one on tv and the other on the pc). But to just listen to one while trying to watch the other, not anywhere as easy to do. Plus the sound on my laptop stinks. |
