Well there's no doubt the relationship between the Flames and Leafs just changed, of course Burke and Nonis will talk. I just hope the protege knows enough not to let Burke pull a jedi mind trick trade with him like he did on behalf of the Leafs several times. I like Burkie, but (frank) him now lol...I'm glad he's involved with Calgary and not an Eastern Conference team.

Ideally he and Nonis will actually cook up a genuine good-for-both-teams trade on one of their fishing trips, and meet in the SCF. I'm assuming that's their plan, hope it works.
