He lost all his power.

He was in charge of the business stuff, the condos and such. And he was head honcho from when Peddie left until liewike came on. Liewike is running of business side as well which took anselmi's power.

Didn't see the game but LeafTV hosts Hendricks & Abbot were raving about MacWilliam. Good to hear that about a guy who was drafted 7th overall.

So Liewike is handling both the buisness & hockey side? Isn't that what messed up the Leafs with Peddie? Peddie had his hands full with condos etc than tries to run the Leafs too which he did a poor job. I thought they were going to have 2 different people for both jobs? Mabie if Lieeike just sticks to the business side of MSLE, mabie they should hire Burke as president of the Leafs

Went to the game, sat close to the ice. Reilly was making faster decisions than anyone else, and his skating is extremely mobile. Not quite convinced he's at Gardiner skating level, but pretty close. And of course, that shootout goal was just GREASY.

Leivo impressed as well. Guessing we'll see both these guys in at least a couple Leaf games this season.

I think Gord Stellick or Bill Watters will be hired for the hockey side of things

Liewike did it in la. Ran kings, lakers galaxy and brought championships to each and increased the business value with arenas all over the world.

The problem with Peddie is he thought he knew enough to get involved with the leafs day to day. He did fine with the business side, which was headed up by anselmi. That is why anselmi was moved up after Peddie until liewike came in.

if Reiily is eligible for 1 more season in junior, might be wise to send him back. Unless he absolutley blows the rest of the Leaf D out of the water when camp opens Sept 9.

YES SIR!!! Are we fully recovered from that tragedy in game 7? I think I'm 90% recovered. Took a long while though. If Bolland, Clarkson & Bernier were acquired cause the Leafs collapse made the Leaf brass think there not as good as they thought they were, than at least 1 positive thing came out of that tragedy.

I watched one of those "pump up the season" leaf videos and sure enough it started with the OT goal.. ya, I didn't get passed that
