My take on last nights game.

Starting with the obvious, as the goal scorers of Leivo and Ross looked good, until Leivo left the game in the third, then that line did not perform as well.

Reilly looked good of course, Finn as well. Was a little disappointed with Granberg...big no look giveaway down low in the 2nd that resulted in CHI 2nd goal, and did not seem to play that physical. MacWilliam had few good hits.

Outside of the 1st goal that CHI scored, Sparks played pretty good.

Other mentions, Connor Brown had some good looks and stood out a few times. Gauthier did not play that much, but has a great stick defensively...would have liked to see him on some of the PP opportunities with his big frame parked in front of the net. but they only played him in a checking role.

Gauthier didn't play much because he needs to start watching some hockey!

I immediately complained and said either they replaced the carpets right away or found her a new apartment in the same building or another similar. They moved her up a few floors into a nicer unit that same week...but she had to stay in the dog pee smelling place for a few days.

It was my own mother lol...and no she was ok with it for the time being, the carpets were "clean" and I went in with this fancy dog pee cleaner I have to help double clean them in the interim...just didnt get rid of the smell

Personally I'd love to keep Franson AND Kadri

But we still have a glut of talented young offensive dman.

Sign Kadri and flip Franson for a draft pick. I think we can get a first or a 8.0B/C forward prospect for him.

Also... the Leafs should explore trading Orr... I know he's awesome and I love the guy but we have McLaren too. Its just not necessary. He'll free up 1 million in salary.

I thought Sparks played good for the first game of the season, good reflex/reaction saves on a few deflections. A few good post to post saves on some wrap around attempts. Huge save in OT with a guy all alone in tight.

1st goal against he was cheating to the right a bit, and puck slipped under his left pad. Could have had that one IMO.

2nd goal against he could do nothing as CHI player all alone with puck in the slot after a turn over went top corner on the glove side.
