About 2 weeks ago I picked up THN 2013/2014 yearbook, today I picked up the edition of the Sports Forecaster Hockey Yearbook. I enjoy the Forecaster better. There predicitions are written with more clarity & understanding. Plus they talk about EVERY individual player in the NHL.

Gunnar was there out of default, not because he's better. He already reached his ceiling. Gardiner is going to continue to get better, he will be in that #2 spot by the end of the season. Franson should be the #3, and if Rielly makes the team, he should be #4 playing top 4 minutes. Ranger and Fraser as the bottom pairing. Gunnarsson is an alright player, but not at the expense of Gardiner and Rielly's development, and resigning Franson.

Unless Rielly COMPLETELY blows the lid of the roof at camp, more than likely he'll go back to junior for 1 more season. Even a good or decent showing will not be enough to keep him. He's gonna have to steal a job in order to stay.
