The Flames do have a ton of cap space, and to be honest I'm a little disappointed I haven't seen them take advantage of this yet. If Burke can find a way to take on some $$$ in order to gain assets for the future i'm all for it!

Yeah I would bet there will be 1 or 2 deals with cap trouble teams. I think TO is at the top of the list...

Good move by the Flames. Burke should still be with the Toronto Maple Leaves.

Now I want to see Lowe and Burke have a fight. Burke has the smarts, but I think Lowe is in better shape. I'll give the edge to Lowe, but if it goes longer than 3 minutes, I'll give Burke the edge.

I just like to see how many times Reed forgets the rules in a game.

How a coach in any pro league who played 4 years in the CFL and has been some sort of coach for 13 years would forget rules is beyond me. I don't think the coaching in the lingerie football league even do something that stupid.

Well we know he'll be blunt and honest and lack some of the ole oilpatch diplomacy we see so often with the Flames org... Something truly needed... We'll see if what he said at the presser holds true and he will let Feaster make the roster decisions...

this move is exactly what i was hoping for. another guy in the front office to help guide and develop this team! i knew they couldn't be over. to do a rebuild and not change majority of the pieces in management is dooming the team to make the same mistakes. glad to see some new faces coming in, and winners too.

Has issues with which crew to send out, Kicking/Punting/Short yardage team and the big one where he thought he could kick a FG and try for an on-side kick, but then realized that the other team could just take the ball on the 35. So he ran onto the fool waiving his hands like a monkey(no racist), looked like a monkey at a zoo.

He also has a tendency to change up what he wants the punter to do, but he waits until he is on the field to tell him to give up the points instead of kicking. Save type of thing with returners as well.

Someone really should show him a QB slide.

The worse thing is he gets banged up a bit and teams take advantage of it. Do you really think any coach is really getting pissed off when the defensive players take late hit penalties on Reilly? They really are only getting called for 1 of the 4 they hit him with, so continue doing it.

I admire Belichek and the way he prepares his team...he is always ahead of the curve (insert spygate joke here). Seriously though, notice the TE's teams are bringing in these days.

I also became a huge Brady fan when he took over for Bledsoe and won the super bowl back in 2001. Definitely one of my idols and one of the best all time.
