Have to agree with you here. A healthy Sens team is a force. Best coach in hockey too.

I don't think so..but you are entitled to your opinion..I think he went into Toronto with a blank cheque..so why wouldn't he try his best to use what they gave him and bring in players he thought would help get them there???

Hey man, I'm a Leaf fan but how are the Sens not good? Great coaching, good D, and strong goaltending with a good top 6.
- Kinger34

We are decent but still have tons of question marks ,the biggest being our cheapskate owner

There good...but I wouldn't say they are better than the leafs...they played well last year with the young guys..but most teams do play a little better with the new guys trying to make the team rather than some of the older floaters...maybe the Sens didn't miss JASON I DROP THE PUCK BETWEEN MY LEGS TO THE OTHER TEAM SPEZZA that much?

I'm also a Sens fan obviously after the Leafs and I have a feeling the Sens are going to go the other way this year and struggle to make the playoffs..hopefully I'm not wrong and they don't bounce the Leafs

I like Ottawa this year. They are going to be fun to watch. Just hope people in Ottawa realize this and show up to support thier team.

I'm not saying they're better either. I think they are better than their record showed last year. I also took great enjoyment in the way they dismantled the Habs in the playoffs last year.

And he used that blank cheque in a very poor fashion ,the leafs are decent but with the resources that team has, it should,nt be just making the playoffs once in 8 years.BB blew it,he used too much money and leveraged the hell out of the leafs moving forward. He gave away far too many bloated contracts for so/so on ice production ,then had to buy out most of them .That my friend is bad management

meh...Yes..the leafs should have Crosby/Malkin/Ovechkin...but not sure if you realize...you can have all the money in the world but if players aren't available...you can't just make them out of air!!!! So Burke used the money that was there to be spent...anyways..I think you should be more worried about Melnyk and the Sens $$$$ then what Burke did or does.

The team has had success, qualifying for the Stanley Cup playoffs in twelve of the past fourteen seasons, four division titles, the Presidents' Trophy in 2003 and appeared in the 2007 Stanley Cup Finals. The success has been reflected in attendance. The club has averaged one of the highest attendance in the league

I stole this from Wiki, but yes they do sell most of their seats every night.

You could draft them ,but nope BB was going to buy a cup for toronto, too bad he finished in the bottom 10 with one of the highest paid teams.Check how much he gave Bozak right out of college decent player now but his 4.2 mil dollar salary is all connected to how much BB loves to spend

how is Bozak's NEW CONTRACT in anyway connected to Burke.

Nonis didn't have to sign him PERIOD.

You're clueless...let us talk about something you know.

How's your release out of the hack?

But sadly without a comitted ownership group willing to spend, on one player or two that might have given us a cup or two. Along with that list of good on ice production.Instead we get owners always trying to run the team on the cheap

In recent years, yes. But they still have tickets available for playoff hockey. Last minute sell outs are typical. Just seems strange.

Sens had a great team when Yashin and company were here, but they had ZERO HEART - and then the Sens nailed the coffin on their future keeping REDDEN OVER CHARA wow talk about dropping the ball. Makes Burke look like GOD.
