Can't hold a candle to our drafting

I doubt he would take the job anyways. Maybe in a couple of years.

The Wings aren't exactly a bad team to work for. His sons both play up the road at Michigan State and his daughters are around high school age so moving probably isn't ideal.

I can do that too. Last year or the year before the Canucks also had several players that came up through the system. Four of the guys you listed on there have less than 50 NHL games of experience!

I'm not saying they're the worst in the NHL, obviously that's not true at all. But it's truly a myth that they're the best in the league...IMO.

Those names mean nothing. They got lucky with Datsyuk and Zetterberg in late rounds. How have their first 3 rounds been?

Dekeyser was a college signing, take him off your list.

The other names on there are average hockey players, most won't even play in the NHL.

If beer drinking is included in the carriculum ,then you are the man and I know where you can get 20 assistants who would love to get paid in beer.

That list is full of second tier players, bottom six players, it's really nothing to brag about. I'm sure if I listed other teams they'd be very similar.

Is Gary Roberts an option? If so, he has my vote. If nothing else it'd mean more of our guys getting into his biosteel camps. I don't really see how he'd be any less likely to accept the job than Chelios either.
