both have 3 years left on the contract at a modest cap hit. Could see them being traded summer of 2014. Would be worth a boat load of a prospect/young player return to a team looking for a D upgrade. Both teams are not max cap spenders, so internal budgets could come into play. Addition by subtracting cap hits

Depends on Scheifele. If he plays well and works his way into a top 6 role, then I don't see them moving Buff.

He's a huge crowd favorite (tee hee).....I think they would prefer to move Enstrom.

Again....this is all dependent on what kind of shape he's in. Management was not impressed last year but reports are pretty good so far.

Tessier had that good article awhile ago about Burmistrov playing with kids in Winnipeg talking about how he loved it and all that jazz. Either he's a pretty good liar, or Noel really didn't like him, or a mix of both. Jokinen was brutal.

Yeah. Jokinen was awful. No denying that.

The Burmistrov story with the kids was great. I really don't get the Noel thing with Burmistrov. Yes Winnipeg was in the battle for number 8 until the last week of the season, so he wanted to go with the vets, but it just seemed to me that Burmistrov and Kane were a good fit.
Both fast, highly skilled guys that liked to throw the body around a bit. They seemed to play well together.

Maybe Burmi was lazy, or whiney, or in general a bad teammate? We don't know because we aren't in the room but there must have been something there.

I think he'll be back....maybe as early as next year.

No that story is true, It was at the River Heights out door Arena all the time, thats where he was living....if he was out, and lots of kids got autographs etc after the game, he was more than happy to play pick up games with the local kids.

I am a Manitoban boy, grew up in Winnipeg. I hear anything and everything about the jets from family and friends every day, I cant escape the Jet News

I think Rundblad stays, Morris or Klesla are gone by season's end. We need some offense on the 2nd PP, hell, anywhere really, Rundblad can do that.
As for his D, I remember a kid named Yandle when he started with the Yotes. He had his share of OMG moments out there,(still does) but he turned out OK.

Now let's get Bods signed.
