So, how's everyone doing today? I'm sure I damaged my reputation on these boards challenging Bobbie Mac for his crap-tastic reporting on Kadri and other rfa contract talks.

I'm also sure that people will say he gave Kadri an opportunity on twitter to correct him, and Kadri didn't.

I wonder however when Media guys will actually say who's leaking them the info, I mean, if I wrote in my articles "I'm hearing so and so is shutting down the company", I can actually get sued if I don't provide a source. It's not hard really, all Mackenzie has to say is Leaf brass or Leaf management says this is what Kadri is asking for. Then the onus is on Leaf management to confirm or deny, and then Mackenzie is actually reporting what he's hearing. Likewise, then Kadri can turn around and say Leaf management is lieing or telling the truth. Anyways........

Kadri is the only player to have gone through this, and likely the last.

anyone who still thinks that kadri hasn't shown enough to prove he has the potential to be a number one center is just plain silly.
consistency, confidence, defensive awareness all come with maturity/time.....unfortunately, with his whining and frustration shown through various interviews and tweets,kadri has once again proven maturity is not one of his strong points.

I won't argue that, but I thought Bob McKenzie was beyond needing sources. I;m sure his 30 years in the business meant that he doesn't need to coddle his sources or keep them happy. Besides, what he says is infallible, and so obviously the truth, of course he'd never slant his viewpoint to keep his sources happy or report what they want him to report for future favours. I mean it's obvious right? All the fans here calling Kadri selfish or an idiot, or greedy for asking for 5.5M, they believe 100% that McKenzie is only reporting the facts.

Personally, I don't equate tweets with reporting...especially the type that Bob Mac posted yesterday. If there is a TSN report on their site, or a video clip of someone saying these things, that is a different story (there might be, I didn't look)...otherwise there is the possibility that these messages are being thrown out there to create a little bit of media/public pressure on the player. Paint them as a young greedy player in the public's eyes, might push them to cave a bit.
