if you go with a 20 man roster, and count in Gardiner's bonus $ hit, you can get it up to 8mil-ish on capgeek.

Honestly this nonsense of "Nonis should have seen this coming" "Nonis (frank)ed up", I would hazard a guess that a guy doing this for a long time knows what he is doing. Kadri does not deserve a ridiculous contract yet, Nonis has leverage by keeping the cap tight. And if Franson get's Gunnarsson money or slightly more, I'll be tickled pink.

If Kadri lights it up with 70-80 points this year. Awesome. You will see no complaints from me

Why because he's tired of this crap? I wish more players held the media accountable. Bobbie Mac's a great journalist, and I love his opinions on hockey, but I've seen enough dumb headlines on tsn as of late in regards to kadri basically saying nothing, inferring he meant something-I'm proud of the kid. He's got the balls to play in this market.

The 3 screw ups - and we gots to be honost here - are Giving Bernier - a backup - more money than your proven starter, buying out Komi with a compliance, and 3, not using the 2nd compliance on Liles after regular Komi buyout. Nonis isn't a moron but he pooped the bed on his cap for sure. We all want the perfect glistening GM to brag about but they make mistakes.

How is that unprofessional? 20 players is all you need to roll 12 forwards, 6 D and 2 goalie. Of a guy gets hurt, he gets replaced.

Yes, but there is a logic side that they seem to miss. It just seems so simple. Komi should have gotten a regular buyout and Liles the compliance.

Kadri needs to take a 3 million times two year deal and like it! It's about the team and he could make his mark by doing what's best for his team. I think that Franson should get a 4 X 5 year deal. Do so and we can get this season started. Just get it done, this is getting aggravating!!
