Richard Todd or Kenny O'Brien available? Or how about bringing Vinny Testeverde back for the 3rd time? Couldn't be worse than these clowns.

Theyve burned a pick on thinking theyre drafting a franchise quarterback twice already. Whats one more? AJ McCarron to the Jets in 2014, I called it here first. McCarron will be the next Tim Couch.

yeah, things are really revving up

This Stepan situation is going to start to concern me soon

I am almost wishing someone would sign him to an offer sheet so we can match it and get going

- jimbro83

If Calgary was willing to give up a 1st and 3rd for O'Reilly and sign him to a $5 million plus deal, you would have to think that they would be willing to do the same for Stepan. Of course, Stepan would have to sign an offer sheet to play in Calgary, which I imagine he wouldn't have much interest in doing. But, if he wants leverage, that is his leverage.

McCarron is a very good college QB, but he is not a high end NFL draft prospect. He has played behind the best offensive line in the country, and has absurd skill as the skill positions. If he played for an average college football program, he would still be very good, but nowhere near as good as he has been at Bama.

Clowney would have been the No. 1 overall pick if he was eligible to come out this year, and I don't imagine that is going to change.

Only thing I can think of is AV wants to bring Morrow in. Morrow has stated that the team he wants to play for is looking for a way to fit him in and AV saw a lot of him in the west. Figure you trade Boyle, MZA and Pyatt, i think they bring in Morrow. Far fetched as all hell but maybe?

it's hard to picture bringing in anyone right now with the Stepan situation unresolved.

I am sure Brenden Morrow would be a good fit though of they could clear some dead weight and sign him cheap

Enjoy the holiday, Jan. I am actually hosting dinner for the holiday at my house tomorrow, because we have Jewish friends up from Miami, and they wanted to do a shin dig, and invite a whole bunch of gentiles to enjoy the experience with them. It should be fun.

We may be able to do that down the road, but waiting after the new year, so if the world tilts on its axis following the blog, I at least have made into the next year

Its amazing.. Read some of the comments from people on this site and you shake your head. The same people that are calling rick nash overratted were slobbing his knob when he played in Columbus.

yea noticed that too. a lot of people underestimate him. maybe it's because of his unimpressive stat line during the playoffs, or maybe something else.

they'll see how good he is when he scores 58 next season
