Can't wait to see Kristo, St. Croix, Lindberg and Fast, this is the best group of forwards we've had in Traverse City, Sather has done a great job while making the playoffs every year

if they have the #1 overall pick next year, do you think they take a real franchise QB?

or do they stick with Geno Smith and pick the top player available who isn't a QB?

And, if they do draft a QB, they essentially wasted a 2nd rounder taking Smith, along with the picks they gave away for Tebow.

NHL Fantasy rankings have Hall #1 KUNITZ #3 and Nash #6. Even I have to say Nash is better than Kunitz. I guess they are taking Crosby into account? For left wingers

I am certaintly not arguing that Brad Richards shouldn't have been bought out given the new CBA, but I also don't think that it is highly unusual that players can have crap years, and bounce back. I think things snowballed for Richards last year. The lock-out hurt his preparation (his fault), he got off to a bad start, he started gripping his stick a little to tight, and turned out to be a hot mess. Couple that with the fact that he, in large stretches last year, looked like he was having about as much fun as he would getting a root canal, and that is the recipe for a bad year.

He said last week that he thinks the new coach will help him, because a more offensive game suits him. I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that that could be the case, but not he has to step up and prove it.

Again, as horrible as he was last year, he was on a 60-point pace in a full season. Granted, a lot of his points were tallied at the end of the season but does it matter if a guy score three points one game and goes scoreless the next two or scores one point in three straight games? It's still a point-per-game.

9/21/86-Jets beat Miami 51-45 in OT, O'Brien had 4 TD passes, all to Wesley Walker, including the game winner. Marino threw 6 TD passes & lost, one of the best regular season games ever.
