The faceoff numbers have to increase by a lot for the Oilers as a whole. I think Boyd Gordon will help that, but for sure RNH and Gagner have to get better in the dot.

Gagner in particular...he took the most draws on the team by around 200 draws and had a 43.9% winning percentage. RNH took the 2nd most and stood at 41%. Non buono.

Edit: I'm a terrible human being.

Center depth is weak, if RNH can't start the season, which I'm reading he probably won't be ready, then you're in trouble.

When that kid is about 23 years old he's gonna be awesome, but he's got some developing to do first.

JL: good little write up. Notice how 99% of posters here are Oil fans? Write anything Oiler related and you'll get a large response. I think the biggest thing for the oilers is still staying healthy. Still don't have the depth to fill in when any top 6 guy goes down. And that is something that has really hurt the oil the past 4-5 years. I predict we'll see Edmonton pushing for a playoff spot this year.

Glad to see we are getting less trolls now.
I agree edmonton will push for playoffs and hopefully some of the bottom six guys will step up to fill their role. If they do Oilers will make the playoffs. Dubbie will have a good year people like to poop on him but he is good and suffered from defensive lapses as well as his own mental lapses as well.
