I don't blame the coaches for Poulins limited play. Poulins rebound control is atrocious. We may have missed the playoffs last year if we played Poulin more.

It may be true about his rebound control, but it will not get better sitting for a month. If the coaches do not trust Poulin, a better goalie needs to be brought in.

Rebound control is a big problem for goalies who haven't seen a lot of game action, especially a young one who has spent most of short career in the AHL. You could have mad just as sound of an argument to say that perhaps if Poulin had seen 15-20 games, the Isles may have been confident enough to switch to him for the rest of the series.

Avery is a noted gay advocate. I think he's likely just messing with people for fun but see's it as making a 'bigger statement' in relation to national debates on the marriage subject. In short, I don't think he's gay but it wouldnt' shock me if he swtiched teams....
