Burrows Gaunce Hansen

(I'm unsure of who Kesler got traded for?)

A few comments:

1) Do not underestimate what Brad Richardson will bring. He is the proto-typical shutdown C that Canucks have needed for a few years.

2) Schroeder, while showing talents, is NOT a 3rd or 4th line center. He is a complete waste if played in those two spots. He will be with AHL or will be 13th F or he will be traded.

3) Booth had some of his best stats when Santorelli was his center in FLR - Gillis knew this when the signed him.

4) While I like the idea of Gaunce/Horvat playing in the NHL I think, long term, its best they play in AHL/OHL for another year.

Gaunce and Horvat aren't old enough to play in the AHL, it's OHL or NHL.

If we are talking past I would take Madden as my third line center every day of the week but Fisher and Vermette are of the same mold.

Luongo is beginning to look like a bargain these days.

34 GP 2g 2a -12. If that is your third line Center your third line is in for a long year... He wasn't much better then year before either, have to go back 3 seasons for any real success.

They should probably just hand the job to one of the kids and see what they can do is Santorelli is the other option.

If he can produce like a second liner sure , but 4.2 mil is too much for 3 rd line play.

This is my ideal top three lines with Jensen and Kassian competing for the top line minutes. Finding which of the 2 have the chemistry with which line.

I hope they signed him for the Comets unless he has a miracle year here.

I can see the possibility of a Kesler trade but I think he could prove to be Torts golden boy due to his work ethic and body sacrifice. Torts already likes his Triple Lindy. Its is the best in the league don't you know.

I'm not liking the lineup but why pay the guy top 6 money and hide him?
Booth needs to Shyt or get off the pot this year. Make or break year for his career.

I didn't like what I seen from Jensen in the two game call up so before I pencil him in I need to see more.
