Marchant misspelling his Stanley cup tattoo

Maybe Garth told him how to spell it๐Ÿ˜„

Vanishes when it matters most. I would even consider him period IMO.

EDIT: Marchand is such a pest. I can understand the frustration. I would hate his guts if he was wearing any other laundry. However for a tournament I would seriously consider him even though you can measure it, he pots some clutch goals when it counts. Bergeron is the same guy night in/night out. Works and plays his ass off, great leader, penalty killer, has scored some clutch goals himself.

It would very difficult for me to cheer for Marchand, even in a Canadian jersey, but with his skill, skating abilty and chemistry with Bergeron (plus he played on the 2008 WJC with Subban, Doughty, Giroiux, Stamakos and Taveres). He will most likely get a serious look.

I wonder if Cody Hodgson makes the team?

You see, when you draft a smallish player, like Marchand, he has to be able to skate. Love to have that kid on my team, even if he's the biggest jerkoff this side of the Atlantic.

Which team, the Sabers?

I don't discount Marchands skill but he is my most hated player in the league.

of course but you can't argue with the fact the sabres make sense. they already have erhoff and coho and the canucks have shown that they can take the bruins to at least 7 games so pegs gets at least a few home playoff games. you also can't argue with the fact the blues make sense. hitch has a raised hitch over luongo - always had - and he'd be part of that deal as well since the blues have all sorts of cash lying around.

They would look good on a lot of teams, doesn't mean that its even a possibility as Ek is subtly suggesting.....

Brendan Gallagher is the same way. Those guys just compete and you don't win without them. I've always liked Marchand. Yeah he beat up the Canucks but he did his job. It would be like me saying I hate Lidster or Graves for beating the Canucks. Who could hate either of those guys?

Marchand is Claude Lemieux 2.0.

Hodgsons problem is skating, if he was quicker he'd be a stud. IMO he turns out to be a great 2C who gets 65-75 points

its cute that you think a trade involving 2 ppg players would come cheap...

Luongo = Allen or Elliott
Edler = Pietrangelo
Sedins = Backes and Tarasenko

Seems pretty straight forward to me

No penalty due to there being no Refs on the ice the entirety of that Final

Franking Thomas cross-checking Henrik in the face

Hemsky's trade value is too low now. I'd like to see the Oilers wait to see how he starts the season. Hemsky is in his contract year and I expect he'll be in great shape and hungry. If Nuge can't start the season, there will be room on the top 2 lines to give Hemmer every chance to excel.
However, if the Oil can trade him now for a solid asset, that'll be fine too. I just have a feeling that Hemsky is going to have a v. good year.

If I had a dollar for every time I've heard an oiler fan say they think Hemsky is finally going to have a very good year over the past 5 years I'd be rich.....

First time I've said it. As a long time Fan, I've never been a Hemsky Booster. I'm more concerned about what they can get for him 'cause he's definitely not in their future plans. Suffice it to say that a solid start by Hemmer is good for him & the Team. This all depends, of course, on him staying healthy, which is a stretch.
The point is, his trade value really can't get much lower than it is now, so I'd like to see the Club wait & see how his season starts before pulling the trigger.

not enough. no thanks. oshie, steen, pietro, elliott, tarasenko, 1st for sedins, elder, luongo.
- therealagent

Funny. Just like all of the Leafs fans want all of the teams to trade their best player to them for nothing. The Sedin Sisters are soft, the Nucks do all of their dirty work after the whistle under the protection of their daddy (the refs).

do you watch hockey? the sedins, especially hank, are iron men. hank is #2 behind JBo. they are very durable and tough. you don't have to fight to be tough. are they gritty? hell no. nobody said they were but there's not a single player on the blues with the talent they have.
canucks haven't done that crap for 2 years and it has actually hurt them. maybe they should take one of the blues playbook. very chippy team and hard to play against. too bad you looked like a peewee team against the kings. you need skill to get past teams. the blues are a couple skilled players away from winning the cup.
just send us petro, oshie, taransenko and a 1st and we'll call it even. we'll throw in weiss and alberts.

I got no problem with the Sedins. 2 of the best 5 or 6 forwards of the past 5 years . But they are not getting younger. St.Louis is a team on the rise ( I didn't think LA dominated them at all, it was a hell of a series ) and I see Pietrangelo as possibly a top 3 ( in the NHL) defender for the next decade. I really don't see your counter offer as fair at all. Maybe take AP out and add I. A 2nd, 3rd and a prospect and that's a fair deal for the twins.

Best play i have ever seen. Will always remember that game, the Flames basically gave up after that goal.

What did the Sedins have? Like 5 points a piece
