When was the last time the Edmonton Oilers finished higher than Buffalo in the Standings? 2001? So if Buffalo sucks so bad what is Edmonton?

Interesting but the O'Reilly Hodgson part seems completly unnecessary.
- DDM-Coga

Yeah kinda. Just trying to get rid of Hodgson's agent and we need a two-way center.

Everyone's gotta work... and believe me, we'll be just as happy to see you leave once you've paid your bills back home.
- BigDre

Why? Is Edmonton overpaying for unskilled labour????

Well, you gotta turn it before you can say its turned. No one gets penciled in for a playoff spot. That's why they play the games.

Can Sabres and Oilers fans stop being antagonistic please? No point. Everyone bags on our cities and our teams and we should be united, with middle fingers in the air. Especially to douchebags from Boston and Toronto. I hope Dubs does well, but you have to admit that it's too early in his career to tell what he is. That said, Miller to Edm makes no sense on several levels, not the least of which is that Edmonton is still rebuilding, so, they are the wrong team to pillage. Do you really think that Edm would part with prospects right now? I could see a hockey trade with Edmonton, not a veteran for prospect thing. Though looking at rosters, nothing comes to mind. Colorado strikes me as a team that is a little more desperate. Plus, I could see Col believing that they could resign Miller.

The current oilers team has 0 accomplishments and has never finished higher than the Sabres. But they are better?

The only thing I think that must be better in Edmonton is the crack.

I was told that Tim Horton's in Stony Plain pays 18/hour. Is that overpaying?

I haven't been east of Alberta in almost a decade, you (frank)ing handicap.

You're all right. Know nothing about Edmonton. I don't even know that the meal I just ate at Boston pizza on 97th and castledowns was crap. Don't even know what the city looks like. Definitely don't know that it's 3 months away from being a -40 wasteland for the next 5 months.

average is more around the -15, but it probably feels like colder to a little female dog like you.

I would take my chances on Dubnk
- Bonzi

I wouldn't. He has some good games but overall, he just isn't good enough, and he's already 27. Miller would be a big upgrade. Dub should be nothing more than a backup.

I like ROR going to Buffalo. He has a big contract but he is young and plays a two way game. Colorado has two many centers. Then Miller to Edmonton for a goalie, Hemsky and a couple of d prospects. It might even be Lababera. I think Enroth is getting the start in Buffalo regardless of where miller goes. Hemsky then would be the player going to Colorado for ROR.

Bufalo ends up with a cheap backup, a couple d prospects, and ROR. Colorado changes ROR who gave them grief last year for a winger who is a gamble (maybe edmonton adds to it) and Edmonton gets Miller.

Edit: Maybe buffalo doesn't take a goalie at all and signs bryz to a 1 year 1 mil contract and takes prospects and Hemsky only from Edmonton. Edmonton has more D prospects than they can play on their AHL and NHL teams.

Do your homework like huge said!!!!!

- Garnie

lots of people choose to live in Edmonton, are you an idiot? Alberta is the fastest growing province in Canada. No need to respond, I already know the answer.

- hugefemale dog77

around here if you don't agree that he's horrible that basically means you think he's the best goalie in the world.

So the avs get screwed on this...we are not taking Hemsky for O'Reilly. We part with our most tradable asset and do not address our biggest needs in D or Goalie Help. Try again

A lot of good points you make here, except the part about sending Buffalo D prospects. We don't need more right now.
