They are good, but they get in the way. If you want to try something hard. Try hanging the chains down from the ceiling, and put some grips at the bottom of them. Do push ups on the hanging chains..

I tried that to lock up my date. Didn't work out so well. She got away while I was making a sandwich.

Haha not to go back to the last blog, but how is the 3 (would have been 4) time 30-goal scorer the Islanders forward with the most to prove over forwards who literally haven't proven themselves?
- isles10289

based on his performance the second half of last season I would be wary of signing him to a long term deal... everyone has something to prove on the team... matty has "proven" that he can flat out score...he has also "proved" then when he is not scoring their isn't anything else to his game. i'm not saying ship him out i'm just saying he has made to isles decision moving forward with him a tough one.....I had heard whispers of matt playing through injuries, who knows..thats why this season his game will be under the microscope

I hope that was the reason he disappeared for a while. I may be guilty of selective memory but I remember him playing a lot better the year before.

MAtt definitely was playing with a lot of injuries, so I believe that is why he was not that great. We will see what he does this year and then I guess take it from there

As you know I'm a Matt Moulson fan. However, if you see that he isn't signed by the trade deadline, I would think he could be traded....

Not quite there yet. This seems to be more of the preseason of in-fighting. I wouldn't put much stock in it. You'll know we're in full swing when it's all of the regulars fighting. The most obvious sign of the regular season here is the first (of many) trade proposals that reads "we need to trade (expendable guy(s) not worth a ton goes here) for either a top pairing d-man or a first line power-foward winger for JT"

Anyways...

I think if you changed out Hamonic in the article for MacDonald you wouldn't see anything different.

Hamonic has a shot - he needs to shoot more and develop more into the 2 way player we want him to be.

Hopefully he sees increased PP time and gets even better at shooting from the point.

Seems that rumors are swirling over in Russia that Nabby might be pulling a Kovalchuk!

Here is his response to that rumor and what he believes is in store for the Isles during this coming season.

There seems to be a bit of arrogance in some of his answers. I like his aggressiveness.

Maybe next time you think twice before making a Sardine, onion and Limburger Cheese sandwich on Rye!

Don't be surprised when that's what he gets. We've seen a ton of average players get inflated contracts lately, and he'll probably get his. That kind of number for that kind of player is slowly becoming the league-wide norm.
