Having watched both of these guys play since they were in the AHL. There may be slight differences as to who is better, but really, both Reaves and Boolig are pretty equal overall. - EKolb13 and one of them may have beach brething over his shoulder.
Beach may never being a toe to toe guy like Bollig, but Bollig will never be able to score goals that I think Beach will if he wins himself and opportunity to.

I won't get into soem battle of words and opinion with any Blues fans today, but by virtue of the teams IN the division, the Hawks and Blues are a bit better than the rest without any games being played.
Lots of things can happen in a full seaosn to the Balckhawks but the one certainty is every team is gonna get up a lot more when they play the Champs.
They are not got give that extra bit to show the Blues.
I think I agree with a lot of you that you have to like the personal in St. Louis.
The dee is their strength, if they kid comes in on time and plays.
Jay Bou is the biggest pretender if you try and look at him as an offensive defender....where he is really great is backing into his own zone and controlling most attackers. Un fortunately, Hawk forward really gave him trouble after he arrived.
I like a lot of the forwards but it is as if they just don't jell well or fit together as well as you would like.
If the Blues do put the pieces together and the Blackhawks get knocked around by vitrue of their champion status, they could be chasing the Blues.
But I have seen that look on Hitch's face after he sees the quicker hawks giving his team fits, and I gotta think if he doesn't believe, I can't believe, and the Blues truly cannot win more games than the hawks.... |

I agree with you Wiz. Question is, can Beach keep his head in the game to do that? |

I don't.
Still not impressed by the Blues. Lots of good pieces, but elite teams are greater than the sum of their parts. Call it chemistry, or whatever, I just don't think the Blues have the IT factor yet. Maybe they gel his season...maybe. As I said before, they're going to have to show me . - Ogilthorpe2
They do have a lot of good pieces, but the one thing I think they lack is high-end scoring talent. Tarasenko maybe has that potential, but other than that, I think McDonald's retirement and Perron leaving in favor of Roy and Paajarvi is a net loss. Can't win every game 2-1, and I don't think St. Louis can match Kopitar and Carter in LA, or Kane, Hossa, Sharp, & Toews, just to name two WC teams. |
