pretty F'ing good I bet.

Hall - Crosby - Stamkos

I know TSN was just making their "educated" guess as to who makes the team, but come on. Kunitz.

Oh... Well, I guess I'll respect your opinion. Personally, I don't think he is. J-Bo is a much better skater and passer, and has shown more offensive flair in his career while also maintaining lots of minutes and strong defensive play.
- Flyers_V88

Last year was the first year J Bo's team made the playoffs. The guy isn't clutch he isn't even noticeable... he just logs minutes with average stats.... I would rather have Phaneuf... and I am by no means a fan.

The guy had to be traded at the deadline to make it to the playoffs. The only Olympic team he's was on was one of the worst showings in history for Canada. His all-star appearances were mainly because the Panthers had to send someone. That's not exactly a ringing endorsement for him.

The guy is right there with Dion Phaneuf as the most over-rated player in the NHL. There is a reason he was moved from the Flames for next to nothing. That reason is because he's isn't an elite D.

It's funny, you say Hamhuis is statistically close to chara, yet did you notice that Phaneuf is statistically close to Weber, especially now that he doesn't have Suter riding alongside him? You also talk about an east coast bias in one of your replies, but it sure sounds like you have a bit of a west coast bias. I don't mean to offend Ian, but you speak in absolutes and talk down to opinions that differ then yours. I know Hamhuis very well, and I don't suffer the east coast bias you may think I might suffer as a Leaf fan, for 6 years my team out west has been the Preds, largely because I fell in love with guys like Suter and Hornqvist. I think Hamhuis is a great d-man, an asset any team can use, but I find it remarkable how he's gone from a #3 or #4 d-man in Nashville to better than Phaneuf in Vancouver.

The only Olympic team he was on was one Hamhuis wasn't good enough to be on, regardless of it's finish. He was also a reserve in 2010, when Hamhuis wasn't good enough to be.

And the Predators had to send someone too. Hamhuis stayed home behind players like Timonen and Arnott. Not like Hamhuis missed all-star games because he was on stacked teams who had too many players going already.

And your ignoring how Hamhuis never won any awards at World Championships, while JBo did.

And if him being moved for next to nothing means he isn't an elite D, I assume you don't think the last defenseman to be league MVP, Chris Pronger, wasn't an elite D either, since he was moved for next to nothing at a similar age as well?

I'm really interested to see how Jay Bo plays this year under Hitchcock. He wasn't very good in Calgary, the glimpses of great play he showed in Florida were never there. Was never sure if it was the team he played for or what (like Larry Murphy in Toronto), he looked much different to me in a short sample in St. Louis.

Didn't notice him though when that playoff series got rough and tumble.

I felt last time around Doughty was arguably our most dangerous d-man. He was all over the ice, I think he'd benefit alot from the extra space he'll be getting.

I like Pork ham bacon but can not eat Lechon. You see the pig there with head and eyes and they carve away the side and eat like a lua. I always feel sorry for the pig as it lies there and someone cuts away part of them and eats it.

I feel like we owe it an apology
