I, as well. Though, keep in mind everyone that last season was his first taste of pro-hockey and is was an injury-shortened season; he only played the second half of the year.

I am not worried about the Reaper. Beukeboom has his hands on him at the Whale and if/when he gets to NY, Ulffie gets the nod.

According to an interview he did on THN, McIlrath is going by Diesel now in Hartford. Undertaker, now Diesel; wonder if he is a WWE fan.

Nothing wrong with that...as long as he knows it's fake......

If he next chooses to call himself Dude Love, then he will need to be traded ASAP!

After reading Marc Staal's comments his eye, I can totally relate what it is he's experiencing. I have the same exact problem, he will be able to see everything fine, players skating around him, about to hit him etc. His issue will be with seeing the puck, not so much when it's on the ice, but when it's elevated and headed toward him. It's a matter of perception, it will definitely be a adjustment, but I think he's already been getting adjusted to the fact that he's going to have work at it.

Just would of wished Sauer could of made this recovery like Staal did. In my opinion, this is a miraculous recovery for Staal. That was a bad injury.

to me, it looked like one of those injuries that was maybe a centimeter or 2 off from being the difference between a career-ending injury and an injury that would take a couple months to heal/adjust to. luckily, it was the latter for staal.

Will you be posting a Mike Keane #12 jersey tomorrow in honor of the countdown?

when I was a kid, Don Maloney was my favorite player. I remember watching his first NHL game in '79, vs the Bruins and he scored, so I made him my favorite player.

Its not often that a player gets his full name on the back of the jersey too like Don & Dave had when they played together.

Just logged in to my Ranger season subscriber account to buy my tickets for the 2 outdoor games in Yankee Stadium.

I am up at my cabin in Maine and had to drive to town to use Dunkin Donuts Wi-Fi.

Tickets offered were at the uppermost level of the Stadium and two levels down from that.

Tickets on the top level were $229 bucks each.

Two levels down from that were $299 each.

Both were nosebleeds and far from the ice. What a rape of season ticket holders. With no guarantee of the weather being good and sitting so far away my bro and I are going to have to seriously think about the 5 tickets for each game.

My son wants to come out from Indianapolis for the games and will be majorly disappointed but at that price I don't even know if we can resell them. Probably...but it would be a little risky.

My guess is majority of people there probably couldn't name more than two players on either team.
