I hear her sister's a pretty good hockey player as well, plays for the Penguins or something.

Dude, really, what the hell? Who said they were still crying? I said it was a bad call that they probably regretted. You need to chill a bit.
- jmatchett383

No my point is I highly doubt an organization that has had the success that Hockey Canada has had at all levels of international events since cutting Hull from the world junior squad regrets anything of the such and I am chill.

Why don't you reread my post? I said they probably regretted it "in 1996." Do you disagree? I never said anything about still regretting it.

They should be. Wasn't the final game in Montreal? That ending was hysterical.

yup great point... you know being in a third world country like Canada we don't have doctors up here and hockey Canada being a new organization on a shoe string budget...they don't have staff doctors at camp

Here, he's squeezing U.S. tennis balls which are 26 psi, whereas in Canada. they are 27. It would throw his therapy way off.

There is no one can argue Brett Hulls ability as a hockey player. His stats speak for themselves....a bigger regret for Canada was having Marc Crawford as a coach in Nagano.....Gretzky sits on bench for shoot out and loses to Czech Republic.

I don't know what this has to do with whether or not Canada regretted not having Brett Hull on their 1996 World Cup team in 1996 or not, but...sure.

Timmo, perhaps, with a change of heart as per Panotch?

“I’m not sure if this is going to be my last year,” the Flyers defenseman said on Tuesday. “I am going to take the approach of, ‘how do I feel?’ If I can still play at the level I’ve accomplished over the years, and enjoy it, I don’t see why not play one more year [after this season]. That will be my approach.

“If I stay healthy and play at the level I want, then I’ll go one more year. We’ll see.”

The question is, do we really want him back? I love Timmo, and he is the embodiment of the term "warrior", but with his age, wouldn't it be more useful to clear his cap hit in order to resign players and go after big free agents? Maybe if we got him on a super cheap cap hit it'd be good, but otherwise, idk.

I agree I would like to see Kimmo stay if he can still play but at a lower price tag would be nice...

I think the Flyers should really test Gustafsson this season. He looked good at last springs world championships for Sweden. I think for him its a make it or break it season and the flyers need to know exactly what they have in him.

Yeah, not quite.

Canadians are getting rattled because USA hockey has improved in the last 20 years or so.

Besides, last time I checked--from 1962 to 1993--Canada didn't win a single gold medal in the World Championships.

Any Canadian I've talked to recently has been getting really edgy about the Olympics. I had a conversation today about Russia and the US's jerseys with a Canadian, and he turned the conversation into trash talking about how the US doesn't stand a chance

Geez, I don't know.

His play last year was absolutely commensurate for what he is getting paid this year, IMO.
