So if the Leafs are in 10th at the trade deadline, and Kessel isn't discussing an extension.... OMG
- robin_steele264

why does everything have to be so difficult in TO?
other teams lock up their stars well in advance, sign him to an 8 year 60 mil deal now!

if him and dion go into the deadline unsigned it will be unbearable, why would either of them want the same 2 questions asked 100 times a day for months?

If they can't re-sign Kessel by the trade deadline he has to go I think. He'll walk if he makes it to free agency.

I just can't picture the Leafs not having offered him a great contract by then. If he hasn't accepted it by that point why would he accept a contract with the Leafs once he's a free agent?

Lots of assumptions on my part but that's my take on it.

The return would be disappointing. Always is with rentals. Still better than him just leaving though.

Grabovski could be a focal point on a power play that includes Ovechkin, Backstrom and Mike Green and will likely slot in as the Capitals' No. 2 centre, but he said "it's coach's decision" where he plays. His focus is on the future after a season with Toronto head coach Randy Carlyle limited him mostly to bottom-six duty, when he finished with nine goals and seven assists.

grabo is going to be a dominant force.

look forward to seeing it and dont worry, il let Randy know

How many games will it take Grabo to get the same amount of points that Bozak will get in 82 games next season?

This could be a fun game.

I'll just complain about the Leafs a lot if it happens, so basically business as usual.

that return ended up being garbage. Its better to take 1 quality prospect and a pick over 3 mediocre ones now...

get Nonis on the phone!

If he walks, Nonis should be fired on two bases. Not resigning him, and then the bozak deal which would look useless
