Agreed, Stafford should he show up to play this season could get us atleast a 2nd. Vanek will get us a first and a prospect maybe a little bit more.

I wouldnt mind seeing a guy like Morrow here. He is a true leader. Right now we are a team without any true leadership. Yes Ott is a leader but I think that may have been out of necessity. He is best fit for running around stirring up chaos not being the captain of this team. A good A but not a C

I think the idea of "letting them walk for nothing" is way overrated. I think the Sabres should address the issue of why your best players don't want to resign with you, especially when money isn't the issue.

Myers= Decent, good potential
Kassian= Enough value to get CoHo
Pysyk= Seems like a stud from his few Nhl games, good for a 21 year old D-man.
Armia= Star in Finland, we will see how he converts to the Nhl ice.
Grigs, Girge, Risto, and Zado are unknown, we have not seen them enough on pro ice. Grigs got 5 pts in 25 games as a 4th liner, which isn't terrible for an 18 year old.
