there were at least 10 games last season where you could easily say Rick Nash was the most dominant player on the ice for either team.

He couldn't figure out how to beat the constant checking he faced in the playoffs, and was completely snakebit on his scoring chances as well.

But to say Rick Nash has diminished skills based upon last what he did last season is dumb and it kind of smells of anti-NY sentiment more than anything else

Can anyone really take last season seriously...ther than the Hawks fans? How would anyone base judgement on any player from last season.

Saying a player has diminished skills when he scores mid 20's in goals in under 50 games (paces for about 35 or so goals). That's right on par with previous years and all the while playing on a defensive team. SI and ESPN are not hockey coverage friendly. TSN.ca is far better; and they are horribly Canadian team biased.
