I will say I was a Schneider fan over Lou, But business is business. And at the end of the day we still have a goalie who is willing to play for this city and could still be considered a top 10 if not top 5 goalie in the world.

Im thrilled hes still here.

As Vantal will tell u, shortly after the season began I called this. I am much happier with this then a buyout. Schneider is a great goalie. I'm not going to bash him, would love for him to still be here, but its not like he didn't have his own red flags. If/when Lu gets rolling again and the fans embrace him, everything will be fine
I'm not thrilled how this situation was handled. MG, FA, and Lu himself all have their part in it though. However, I am absolutely pumped that we got 2 guys I had in my top 10 (top 8 actually) in one of the deepest drafts in history according to most scouts

Hockey's a rough sport. These guys know it before they play, and it's part of the reason we all watch it.
