I don't think he is bust or proven. He is progressing nicely, isn't there yet, and has lots of room to improve and become an all round player and force in this league. Teams dont want to over pay for short track records and resumes, and rightfull so. This is a league wide take on it, its not exclusive to the Leafs and Kadri.
